Flupentixol:
Generic Name: The generic name of the medicine is flupentixol. Flupentixol belongs to the class of medicine known as thioxanthene antipsychotics. In human brain nerves interact or communicate with each other through neurotransmitters. Sometimes the excess amount of dopamine neurotranmitter in brain may cause over-stimulation of dopamine receptors, which may cause symptoms of psychotic illness.
