Eulexin:
Generic Name: generic name of Eulexin is Flutamide. The medicine is used along with other drug for treating prostate cancer. Eulexin reduces the male hormone testostereone and belongs to antiandrogen class of drugs. Reducing testostereone hormone level can help in treating prostate cancer. The medicine should be taken only if prescribed by the doctor.
Precaution:
- The medicine should be taken only if prescribed by the doctor.
- The medicine should be taken by males only and should not be taken by females.
- If you are allergic to Eulexin, you should not take this medicine.
- If you are suffering from a serious liver problem, you should not take this medicine.

- LFT (liver function test) should be carried out before prescribing the medicine.

Overdose:
- You should use eulexin as prescribed by the doctor.

- The overdose may cause some side effects as mentioned below. If you observe any of the symptoms, you should contact to your doctor immediately.
Side Effects:
- The side effects of the medicine may vary from person to person.
- Some of the common side effects of eulexin include diarrhea, loss of sex drive, nausea, vomiting and swelling.
- Some other side effects may also occur, in all such cases you should consult to your doctor.
How to take:
- The recommended dose of Eulexin is 2 capsules, 3 times a day for an eight-hour interval or as prescribed by the doctor.
- The medicine should be taken with a full glass of water.
- The medicine can be taken with or without food.
How to store:
- The medicines should be stored at room temperature and out of reach of children.
- The medicine should be kept away from excessive heat and moisture.
- Outdated medicines should not be used and should be destroyed to avoid misuse of the medicines.
