Aldesleukin / Proleukin is generally given to patients only in the hospital, administered intravenously, or by injection, by a team of professionals and under the supervision of a physician. Aldesleukin / Proleukin is used primarily in the treatment of cancer of the kidneys and some forms of skin cancer that have spread to other parts of the body. The dosage of this drug varies by patient, depending on variables like size and weight.
