What is Cipramil?
Ciprampil is an anti-depressant it is used on people with depression and panic disorders.
Important things to know before taking this medication.
This medication may cause liver damage that could be fatal in young children. So your child should have their liver tested every 2 weeks. If you see any signs that your child may be getting live damage call your doctor tight away. Here are the warning signs of possible liver damage:
- Tiredness
- Loss of appetite
- Yellow skin or eyes
- Nausea
- Stomach pain
How to take Cylert
Take by mouth with plenty of water. It might take two to four weeks for this medication to work. So it is very important to keep on taking it even if you do not feel the affects right away. But if you feel your depression is getting worse talk to your doctor about it.
Side effects of this medication
Some of the side effects of this medication could include any of the following:
- Dry mouth
- Sweating
- Headache
- Tremors
- Loss of sleep
- Amnesia
- Sexual problems
Special warings
Cipramil can keep you from being able to drive or operate any type of heavy machinery safely. So do not do any of this until you feel comfortable using this medication and know how it will affect you? Also do not drink alcohol when taking this medication. This medicine can cause the sodium in your blood level to drop so if this happens ask your doctor to see what you can do to keep it up. This medication will also give you symptoms of confusion, muscle twitching, drowsiness, and convulsions. This happens a lot in elderly people. If you have epilepsy make sure you tell your doctor because this medication can make your seizures worse or cause you to get them more often. This medication should not be used in children under 18 years of age. Be very careful when using this medication and are:
- Elderly
- Young adults
- You have suicidal behavior
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy
If you are pregnant or breast feeding tell your doctor and ask him the risks to u and the baby.
Food and drug interactions
Be sure to tell your doctor what medications you are taking even if they are not prescription drugs, this would also include herbal remedies. Also be careful if you are taking diabetes medication or medication for blood clots.
