Brand Name: Evista
Generic Name: Raloxifene

What is Evista?
Evista is a drug that is prescribed to treat those who suffer from osteoporosis.  Osteoporosis is a disease that occurs in some women, usually after menopause, which causes the bones to become brittle.  Later in life it can be indirectly very life threatening.  It is very common for an older person to break their hip and then develop other ailments as a result of the surgery, recovery process, and extended period of inactivity.  Osteoporosis is a major cause of broken hips (and other bones) among the elderly.  Some of the individuals at a higher risk for osteoporosis are Orientals, very thin people, those who get menopause early, smokers, alcoholics, the calcium deficient, the inactive, or those with a genetic predisposition to the disease.

How To Take Evista:
You should take Evista once per day and the time of day that you take it does not matter..  Evista does not mix well with alcohol or tobacco.
